I'm Matt, a UX writer working from Chicago, Illinois. I love technology, creative writing, and the digital world.
Before, I served as Editor of Maven.io, where my articles reached the eyeballs of millions of readers around the world.
After that, I helped build the new Apple Maps. As a Technical Writer, I trained thousands of editors to use digital mapping tools.
Today, I help companies find their voice, put it in their products, and make their digital services easier to use and understand.
I'm always looking for more ways to help. Send me a quick email about what you're up to. Chances are, I'd love to help out.
I led content design and strategy on Dropbox's most ambitious initiative to date: an AI-powered work assisant.
Helped design an easier-to-use and more consistent platform to help local business owners win. Also, expanded the UXW team and discipline.
I designed tools, like the first machine learning-driven ad campaign, to help app developers share their creations with the world at Google Ads.
Helped build the new Community feature in Google Translate, which has improved the translation quality of over 140 languages and dialects.
Inspired a global community with tone of voice and personality. Designed activities that use machine learning to make Google products more inclusive.
I helped build the new Apple Maps, an entirely redesigned and reengineered navigation experience that energized the Apple brand.
Just stuff I do for fun, whether it's writing, doodling, or working on and driving my 1965 Ford Mustang with friends.
